Dr. Jonathan Lynch featured in Penn State Annual Research Report

Dr. Jonathan Lynch, Professor of Plant Nutrition, is featured in Penn State University's 2009 Annual Report of Research Activity. Dr. Lynch's Ukulima Root Biology Center, a joint research endeavor between Dr. Lynch and the Howard G. Buffet Foundation, is featured on page 11 of the report. Dr. James Schupp named Interim Director of Extension Center

Dr. James R. Schupp, Associate Professor of Pomology, has been named as Interim/Acting Director at the Fruit Research and Extension Center in Biglerville, Pennsylvania effective January 4, 2010. As Interim/Acting Director, Jim will be responsible for providing leadership and supervising interdisciplinary operations at the Center until a permanent Center Director is named. Jim will continue his research and extension programs aimed at developing new production methods for improving grower profitability through increased revenues and production efficiency.

Horticulture Club's Annual Valentine's Day Sale: February 11th & 12th

The Penn State Horticulture Club will host its annual Valentine's Day flower sale on February 11-12, 2010 from 10:00am-4:00pm on the HUB Ground Floor. Prices are $4.00 for a single rose, $5.00 for a rose and filler, $23.00 for half dozen roses, and $45.00 for a dozen roses. In addition, a variety of other cut flowers will available for purchase.
