Graduate Programs in Horticulture


GRADUATE PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Department of Horticulture offers Master of Agriculture (M.Agr.), Master of Science (M.S.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Horticulture. Students may specialize in genetics, plant breeding, molecular biology, plant physiology, plant nutrition, marketing and production of horticultural crops, ecology, and post harvest physiology.


ASSISTANTSHIPS AVAILABLE
The Department of Horticulture is seeking outstanding candidates interested in obtaining a M.S or Ph.D. in fields related to Horticulture; including genetics, plant breeding, molecular biology, plant physiology, plant nutrition, production of horticultural crops, ecology, and post harvest physiology. Assistantships, including tuition waivers, are available for the 2008-2009 academic years.
Please apply by January 15, 2009 for all possible funding opportunities for the following Fall semester. International students must apply 5 months before the intended starting date.
