Type of Service:
- Our current projects include the study of cultural effects on growth and ericoid mycorrhizal infection of blueberry, IR-4 magnitude-of-residue projects, cultivar trials of fall-bearing red raspberry and gooseberry, pruning studies with red raspberry, and screening of thornless black raspberry selections. I maintain and collect data on these experiments, isolate and maintain cultures of ericoid mycorrhizal fungal symbionts, statistically analyze data and assist with writing of reports and technical articles.

.
Skills and Expertise:
- Having worked in various areas of horticulture for quite a few years, I've been able to build on previous experiences, and use what I've learned to assist with current problems and projects.
Special Area of Interest:
- This is difficult to pin down, and changes frequently, since I generally find whatever we're working on to be interesting. Which makes me wonder if I'm not just easily amused..
