Majid R. Foolad, Professor of Plant Genetics
  Genetic characterization of important abiotic (e.g., salt & cold) and biotic stress resistance traits in crop plants; Localization and mapping of genes conferring resistance traits using biochemical and molecular markers; Integration and utilization of conventional techniques of plant breeding and contemporary techniques of molecular biology for directed crop improvement and germplasm enhancement.
